Saturday
Big Bear Lake--Hazelton, WV
6 hour relay race featuring 2-man teams. (1-man teams are invited but will be scored as a 2-man team).
Expect a shorter course than last year with ~45 minute (approx 7 mile) laps.
Course will consist of double and single track with flowy and technical sections.
Racing starts at 8AM, last rider leaves before 2PM.
Registration will be available on Friday night from 6pm-11pm and on Saturday morning until 7:30 am.
Format: There will be a mandatory riders meeting at 7:45.
Mass start time is 8 am. Riders will switch off laps or they may ride consecutive laps until 2pm.
The cutoff time for sending another rider on the course will be at 1:59:59pm. Scoring will be based on the most laps completed fastest.
WISP Ski Resort -- Deep Creek Lake, Maryland
Dual Slalom
Short course with jumps, bermed turns, and a starting gate.
Preferred registration at 6hr race. Registration will be available from 3:50pm to 4:45pm at the bottom of the dual course by the lift.
Qualifying will start at 5pm and the race will start 15 minutes after qualifying is completed.
Sunday
WISP Ski Resort -- Deep Creek Lake, Maryland
Registration will be available from 8-9am at the top of the mountain look for the signs. Or can be done at 6hr race.
Short Track
The short track is located on top of the mountain and there will be signs posted to get to the top and parking will be available there.
Please park in the designated area, and do not drive anywhere on the slopes. Similar course as years past on top of the mountain.
Expect some technical sections, jumps and open sections. 15 min for each class.
Men C –9:30am
Men B – 10:00am
Women A/B - 10:30am
Men A - 11:00am
Super D/Downhill
We plan on running two separate courses with the best combined time from both determining the winner.
The courses will be at an intermediate skill level to allow all competitors to enjoy the racing.
The best bike for this course would be a bike with 4-6 inches of front and rear suspension.
All riders need to report to the starting area at the top of the mountain at 12:50.
The race will start promptly at 1:00pm. The second race will start 30 minutes after the last rider crosses
the finish line at the bottom. The start order of the second race will remain the same as the first race.
Order will be Men A, Men B, Women A, Men C and Women B. Starting intervals will be 1 minute if there is less
then 30 competitors and 30 seconds if there is more than 30 competitors.
Start time: First rider off at 1:00pm

One day license fee for nonmembers: $10

DH: $15 (includes lift access)

Registration closes 20 minutes before the events
Racers wanting to participate in the A class must have a collegiate license.
Directions to Big Bear: Big Bear Lake is located 24 miles east of Morgantown, I-68 Exit #29. Turn south off of the exit ramp and stay straight on that road for three miles. Check in at gate at camplands. Then proceed straight out the road to the event venue.
Directions to Wisp from Big Bear: Get back on I-68 and travel East. From I-68 take exit 4. Bear left off the exit ramp and head south on the Friendsville road for 8 miles towards Mchenry, MD. Then merge onto 219 South for another mile to Wisp. At the Exxon station make a right turn onto Sang Run Road. Take a left onto Marsh hill road. Turn right into the Wisp.
Note: Races are being held in the mountains. Be prepared for possible cold weather. The schedule may change due to weather conditions, the race director will make the best attempt to notify teams if there is going to be changes as far in advance as possible.
Accommodations:
Camping is available on Friday night and Saturday night at Big Bear Lake Campground in Hazleton off I-68 exit #29.
There are also hotels located in Deep Creek including the Wisp Hotel (www.skiwisp.com) and check out the lodging section.
